That's not claret. Claret is red Bordeaux. Yquem is what's affectionately termed a "pudding wine". White and very very sweet. It's made from white grapes in Brodeaux just as they start to go a little bit mouldy with "noble rot".

A damned fine wine and it goes rather well with foie gras, roquefort and peaches (but not all together).

But at £75k a bottle I think I'll pass...

she's lost her marbles then (or is that marble?). Never light a ciggie from a candle, even after 30+ years I know it completely effs up the taste
