Some toff stands with the Lord Mayor of London, Alan Yarrow (centre left) and his wife Gilly (centre right) during the the Lord Mayor's Banquet at The Guildhall in London. The Banquet in London's Guildhall features speeches from the Prime Minister and the Archbishop of Canterbury. Yarrow was recently elected 687th Lord Mayor of the City of London, a role that has been in existence since 1189.

Prince Harry made our game of 'spot the British Prince in the middle of the Oman' fairly easy when he visited the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. In a further attempt to blend in, he'll be playing equestrian polo in Abu Dhabi later.

Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair was again heralded for his philanthropic contribution to world development at the 2nd Annual Save The Children Illumination Gala, where stars like Lassie (the dog) watched on as the man responsible for Britain's part in the Iraq war collected the Global Legacy Award.

Lassie's reaction to Blair's award was, it's fair to be said, passive at best.
